Introduction
The Queensland Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers is offering a course on back-of-book indexing. Basic Book Indexing part I is being offered to those in the information profession and/or publishing industries who have limited knowledge of the art of indexing. The course is designed to have a large practical component, but will also give a strong basis in the theory of indexing.

- Cross references
- Alphabetical arrangement

- Editing for publication

- Indexing as a business
Practical exercises will be conducted throughout the course.

Fees are $300 per participant ($250 for ANZSI members), and will include all instruction, course notes, morning and afternoon teas.
