SUMMARY:ANZSI NSW National Indexing Day Teleconference
DESCRIPTION:ANZSI NSW Group will be celebrating National Indexing Day 2020 with a nuts-and-bolts Q&A session via teleconference. We will use the Redback teleconferencing system that Council uses for meetings. \nThis has always been a popular type of event for face-to-face meetings\, and we are keen to try it electronically. This makes the event accessible to everyone with a telephone. With people being advised to minimise travel at the moment\, this is a timely event. \nThe teleconference will be held at 4pm Sydney time* on Sunday 29 March 2020. \nThis event is open to all ANZSI members. If we have a lot of questions\, priority will go to those from NSW Group members\, and those that are sent to me the soonest. \nPlease email me (glendabrowne@gmail.com) if you would like to attend\, and I will send the teleconference phone number and code. There is no cost for participants in Australia and New Zealand except for a local phone call. \nIf you have questions\, please send them to me. I will share them with the group so people can start thinking about them. If possible we will have one prepared response before opening the ‘floor’ to comments. \nAll discussions will be confidential\, and we ask participants not to share identifiable details outside the meeting. \nIf we run out of questions we could also do ‘take 5 minutes to share one of your recent indexing experiences’ as we have done at some of our informal lunches. \nI look forward to sharing the joy (and puzzles) of indexing with you all on National Indexing Day. \n*If you will not be calling in from NSW (except Broken Hill)\, please check the time zone.
