The Society of Indexers (SI) will be celebrating the fifth annual National Indexing Day on Tuesday 30 March 2021 across social media with #indexday.

We would like to encourage indexers everywhere to join us on the day, sharing why a well-crafted index adds to the value and accessibility of publications.

We will be sharing information about what the Society of Indexers does. If you are active on social media, please help raise the profile of all our societies by joining in. Having a focused day where numerous messages are sent out can make #indexday trend and results in a far wider reach of the indexing message.

If anyone is writing a blog, or can publish a longer message anywhere on the internet on that day, please let Ruth Ellis know in advance (publicity@indexers.org.uk) so that it can be scheduled into our planned tweets.

Happy indexing,

Ann Kingdom
