Background
2008–present: Freelance academic science editor providing copyediting, substantive editing, and writing consultation services for journal articles, grant applications, reports, book chapters, and conference presentations. My editing work has covered a range of disciplines, including chemistry, environmental science, soil science, agricultural and forestry science, biochemistry, forensics, traditional medicines, pharmacology, and analytical techniques.
I have substantial experience with educational materials having been a home educator since 2016. Through this experience, I have worked with math and science curricula from a number of publishers, including Cambridge University Press.
I have personal interests and extensive experience in vegan, vegetarian, and plant-based cooking; horseback riding, horse care, and equitation science; gardening and nature; and hobbies and crafts such as sewing and knitting.
